REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) H92240-19-I-0006 Personal Watercraft (PWC) Training SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis/RFI. The Government is neither negotiating nor calling for offers at this time. No solicitation is being issued at this time; and while a formal solicitation may be issued at a later date, this notice does not commit the government to ultimately award a contract. This announcement is an expression of interest only and does not commit the Government to pay for any response or preparation cost. The Government does not intend to make an award on the basis of this sources sought synopsis. This information will be reviewed and will be used to develop the acquisition strategy and possibly a Request for Quotation. Market Research is being conducted to seek qualified contractors with the skills, knowledge, and resources required provide the requirement listed below, on behalf of Naval Special Warfare (NSW). Description of Requirement This purpose of this requirement is to provide a PWC course of instruction to enhance the knowledge, skills and abilities of the student utilizing the PWC in the most challenging maritime environments available. Instructors shall have 10+ years of experience in their field and extensive experience training military units on PWCs and on PWCs in extreme surf conditions. Vendor must provide necessary PWCs, safety equipment and personnel to provide this training. Vendor shall have access to training locations that can provide heavy to extreme waves for real life training. Training shall consist of but not limited to the following: Advanced driving skills, unconscious or unwilling ocean retrieval, Heavy to extreme surf/reef operations and safety considerations. This Sources Sought is an advance notice for information and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System is 611620 and the size standard is $7.5 Million. Please provide any additional comments you may have regarding this proposed acquisition. Respondent is encouraged to provide any commercial literature in support of their capabilities to execute this proposed training and supply the proposed software. 5.
