REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) H92240-19-I-0004 Climbing, Rigging & Heavy Lifting COI SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis/RFI. The Government is neither negotiating nor calling for offers at this time. No solicitation is being issued at this time; and while a formal solicitation may be issued at a later date, this notice does not commit the government to ultimately award a contract. This announcement is an expression of interest only and does not commit the Government to pay for any response or preparation cost. The Government does not intend to make an award on the basis of this sources sought synopsis. This information will be reviewed and will be used to develop the acquisition strategy and possibly a Request for Quotation. Market Research is being conducted to seek qualified contractors with the skills, knowledge, and resources required provide the requirement listed below, on behalf of Naval Special Warfare (NSW). Description of Requirement This purpose of this requirement is to provide personnel, management, equipment and facilities necessary to provide an educational approach in the areas of climbing, rigging and heavy lifting, utilizing a system that is portable, light weight and contained in its own bag. This system shall be used for three separate functions at the same time in various environments for insertion/extraction, rescue & heavy lifting. Training needs to be available to teach students how to properly utilize this system. This Sources Sought is an advance notice for information and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System is 611699 and the size standard is $11 Million. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: If you believe your firm has qualified personnel, relevant past performance experience, and the technical capability to provide this Climbing, Rigging & Heavy Lifting training utilizing the lightweight equipment requested and would be interested in competing for such a contract, please see the following questionnaire.
