IT IS A SOURCE SOUGHT/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This notice is for information and planning purposes only. In accordance with Part 8 & 10 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, the Government is conducting market research to determine the availability and adequacy of potential business sources in career transition seminars in accordance with Government requirements. This Request for Information (RFI) does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a competitive contract. Proprietary information will be accepted and handled appropriately. Responders should indicate which portions of their responses are proprietary and should mark them accordingly. The Government is not obligated to and will not reimburse the Contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. Description: Naval Special Warfare Center (NSWCEN) requires contractor support in the area of career transition for their senior military service members transitioning from a military career to a civilian career. This support shall involve a seminar development that is designed to take an individual through every aspect of career transition with the focus being on re-employment. The Government requires four (4), 3-day seminars each year. Two seminars will be located in Little Creek, VA and two will be located in San Diego, CA. Each seminar shall have at least fourteen service members, plus their spouses, for a total of 28 students. The Contractor shall upon each seminar provide 28 student guides, regardless of full attendance. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this announcement and it reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this announcement.
