This requirement is for computer-based testing that has been specifically designed to measure brain processes that are involved in a Soldier’s ability to make rapid, split-second decisions. Testing protocol and equipment must be scientifically based using statistically validated methods for quantifying the cognitive abilities critical to mission success. This testing with compliment the overall assessment process each Special Forces operator will undergo during a Performance Review that occurs, on average, once every 12 months.
