This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is H92239-21-Q-0025 and is issued as a “Request for Quote (RFQ)”. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-06, effective 12 July 2021. The DFARS provisions and clauses are those in effect 9 July 2021. This requirement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside and is under North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) code 314999 with a business size of 500. **Offerors are required to fill out the attached SF1449 document, sign, and then return 1 copy to issuing office**. The Contractor agrees to deliver all products (and installation if need be) or otherwise identified below and on any additional sheets subject to the terms and conditions specified herein. The 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne) out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, has a requirement for Performance Design Optimum Reserve Parachute Canopies to support Military Free Fall School (MFF) in Yuma, Arizona. The Canopies have a required delivery date is with three (3) weeks of contract award. The Optimum Reserve Canopies shall be rated for maximum exit weights ranging from 220 pound to as much as 290 pounds. The non-tactical Optimum Reserve Canopy is a requirement for the MFF school instructors, the requirement is for the following square footage sizes and quantities: Six (6) x Performance Design Optimum Reserve 235 sq ft Four (4) x Performance Designs Optimum Reserve 253 sq ft It is anticipated that this will be a brand name only acquisition. The required product is the Optimum Reserve Canopy manufactured by Performance Designs. See attachment for specifications.
