This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is H92239-21-Q-0023 and is issued as a “Request for Quote (RFQ)”. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-06, effective 12 July 2021. The DFARS provisions and clauses are those in effect 9 July 2021. This requirement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside and is under North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) code 314999 with a business size of 500. **Offerors are required to fill out the attached SF1449 document, sign, and then return 1 copy to issuing office**. The Contractor agrees to deliver all products (and installation if need be) or otherwise identified below and on any additional sheets subject to the terms and conditions specified herein. The 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne) out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, has a requirement for Crossfire 2 Parachute Canopies to support Military Free Fall School (MFF) in Yuma, Arizona. The Canopies have a required delivery date of 24 September 2021. The Crossfire 2 Canopies are required for use at a jumping height up to 17,999 and a total jumper weight of up to 300 pounds. The non-tactical Crossfire 2 Canopy is a custom, requirement for the MFF school instructors, the requirement is for the following square footage sizes and quantities: Twelve (12) x 170 square feet Ten (10) x 210 square feet. The canopies required are commercial, capable of being relined and have similar glide ratio to the RA-1 parachute system. It is anticipated that this will be a brand name only acquisition. The required product is the Crossfire 2 Canopy manufactured by ICARUS. See attachment for specifications.
