This requirement is expected to be a non-personnel services contract to provide preventative maintenance and emergency repairs for the Detroit Arsenal Prototype Integration Facility (PIF). The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs as defined in the Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The goal of this requirement is to utilize one vendor to coordinate the maintenance and expedite emergency repairs of the major equipment in the DTA PIF shop. The maintenance and repairs shall be done by certified technicians and shall eliminate the need for individual contracts for each manufacturer. This would minimize the downtime of machines due to preventive maintenance being done at required intervals and would also expedite emergency repairs.
