Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway Maintenance Dredging
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway between Onslow and Brunswick Counties, North Carolina, using hydraulic cutter suction dredges. Dredged material will be placed on approved ocean beaches and upland confined areas, with environmental windows for beach placement from 16 November to 31 March or 30 April depending on location. The magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business set-aside, but proposals are only accepted from the previously awarded contractors in the Group 1 Dredging MATOC pool. The request for proposal will be issued electronically on or about 29 June 2026.
