DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Project work entails maintenance dredging shoal material (approximately 65,000 Cubic Yards) from Palm Beach Harbor. Work will include dredging the Entrance Channel to depths varying from 37 to 39 feet with a 2-foot allowable overdepth. All material will be placed in the permitted beach disposal area which lies immediately south of the inlet. Incidental work includes, but is not limited to turbidity monitoring and endangered species monitoring. NAICS Code 237990, size standard $27.5 million. Magnitude of Construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 1 August 2019 and proposals will be due on or about 29 August 2019. The award of the task order will be made on the basis of Lowest Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA). The technical evaluation factors are availability of technically acceptable plant and equipment and past performance. See attached request for proposal for submission requirements.
