The United States Air Force is seeking potential sources in the telecommunications industry on ways to better utilize Air Force real property assets to provide long-term improvements in mission capability. We are seeking from the telecommunications industry to allow better coverage, such as fiber or other hard wiring, macro towers (commonly referred to as 'cell towers'), small nodes, such as distributed antenna systems (DASs), or repeaters. Interested parties should respond with specifics of the cellular services they are capable of providing and describe how they would proceed with this effort, to include land and utility requirements, maintenance requirements and associated costs, and the size of the required customer base for long-term successful operations. The Government is holding an Industry Day on Tuesday, 21 May 19 at Langley Air Force Base and Thursday, 23 May 19 at Fort Eustis to discuss the requirement, potential arrangements, and proposed base locations to establish operations. Specific instructions, time, and meeting location of the Industry Day will be publicized through an amendment to this notice at a future date. All interested parties are asked to submit their response demonstrating their capability and plan to provide these items to the POCs listed below. Ms. Jeree L. If this subject line is not included, the email may not get through email filters at Joint Base Langley-Eustis. Attachments with files ending in .zip or .exe are not allowable and will be automatically deleted by the system.
