The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support is seeking interested business parties in supporting the demand for Fruit and Nut Mix Type II for the UGR program (NSN: 8925-01-547-4121). DLA Troop Support anticipates issuing a solicitation for Fruit and Nut Mix Type II under an Indefinite Quantity Contract. The IQC is a long-term contract designed to provide for an indefinite quantity, within stated limits, of supplies or services to be furnished during a fixed time period. The Government places orders for individual requirements. The contract is intended for use with items for which recurring demands may be anticipated, as a means of reducing the time and expense required soliciting and making repetitive awards. Based on the indefinite quantities the award may receive awards on unknown quantities for the award year, with a guaranteed minimum and a stated not to exceed maximum. The contract will be for two consecutive one-year tiers resulting in a two-year contract.
