The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support is seeking interested business parties in supporting the demand for Food Transporters, Dispensers and Carriers for multiple NSN’s (please reference the attached spreadsheet for specific NSN information). DLA Troop Support anticipates issuing a solicitation for the reference item(s) under an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The IQC provides for an indefinite quantity, within stated limits, of supplies or services during a fixed period. The IQC is utilized for items with recurring demands when the Government cannot predetermine, above a specified minimum, the precise quantities of supplies or services that the Government will require during the contract period. The IQC must require the Government to order and the contractor to furnish at least a stated minimum quantity of supplies or services. In addition, if ordered, the contractor must furnish any additional quantities, not to exceed the stated maximum. The contract will be for five consecutive one-year tiers resulting in a 5-year contract.
