Sources Sought for B124 Fire Suppression System Repair/Upgrade This Sources Sought notice is issued for planning purpose only, and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals, offers, bids, and/or quotes. This is not an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, or confirmation that the Government will contract for the items contained in the Sources Sought, nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied. Responses to this notice will assist the Government in identifying potential sources in determining if a Small Business set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate, and in determining whether or not this approach to securing contracting support is practicable. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Sources Sought. Responses to this notice will not be returned. The 87th Contracting Squadron (87 CONS) - Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL), NJ is conducting market research to determine the existence of interested Small Business sources for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. The small business size standard is $15M. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to obtain information on qualified and experienced contractors interested in providing proposals. The work consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision necessary to perform the work outlined in the following paragraphs and the project drawings, specifications and schedules forming parts thereof, subject to the terms and conditions of the contract to Repair/Upgrade Fire Suppression System in B124. Work shall be accomplished in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and Local Regulations, good construction practice and the contract documents. Details are provided in the following paragraphs. The contractor shall ensure that the detailed shop drawings submittals and construction methods shall consist of any and all necessary design, repairs, upgrades and replacement for the proposed renovation in accordance with the federal regulations. The contractor shall ensure that the governments requested parameters listed below are addressed and incorporated into the detailed shop drawings submittals, any and all discrepancies with the governments requested parameters shall immediately be brought to the government's attention so a resolution can be made. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $500K and $1M. The following information is requested in this Sources Sought: 1. Company name, point of contact, phone number, and address; 2. DUNS Number and CAGE Code; 3. Interest in nature of participation [e.g., prime contractor, teaming partner, primary subcontractor]; 4. Small Business certification; Interested contractors may provide the above information via e-mail to the address listed below. Information submitted must be in sufficient detail as to allow for a thorough government review of firm's interest and capabilities. This information is due no later than 19 June 2019 at 12:00 p.m. EST.
