The Defense Health Agency intends to sole-source the NextSeq 1000 Sequencing System from Illumina, Inc., as it is the only system meeting the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System DNA Operations mission requirements. The system enables rapid sequencing of targeted panels, whole mitochondrial genomes, and SNP analysis in a single run. Performance of services will be at the contractor’s location in San Diego, CA.
