No solicitation exists at this time. The 316th Contracting Squadron located at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland is conducting a sources sought to determine the availability, interest and technical capability of qualified businesses capable of operational support for the 24-hour Supplemental Ambulance and Patient Transport Services contact at the 316th Medical Group (MDG), Malcolm Grow Medical Clinics and Surgery Center, Joint Base Andrews MD; also referred to as Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). The contractor shall staff two (2) Advanced Life Support units simultaneously services 24 hours per day, seven (7)- days a week for 365 day a year to include all holidays. Contractor care shall cover the full range of Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic and Ambulance Services provided in the local community to include but not limited to patient transport in four (4) categories of patients: 1) Critical Care (CC) 2) Advanced Life Support (ALS) 3) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) 4) Basic Life Support (BLS). Patients shall be transferred from identified patient pick-up location to the MTF on Joint Base Andrews. The Service area of responsibility for the contractor is anticipated to be within a fifty (50)-mile radius of Joint Base Andrews for patient transport missions located in the State of Maryland, the Commonwealth of Virginia or the District of Columbia. All services shall be in accordance with the requirements of professional standards of the Maryland Department of Transportation and any applicable Federal standards or requirements. Due to unknow traffic conditions surrounding the DMV and to ensure expected pick-up/delivery times can be realistically that will be defined within the forthcoming RFP, the contractor’s operational support facility should be located within thirty (30)-miles of JBA. This is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government; the U.S. Government will not pay for the information provided. The information from this notice will help the 316TH MDG Squadron at Joint Base Andrews to plan their acquisition strategy for the requirement. For this acquisition, the NAICS code 621910—Ambulance Services will apply. At the time of RFP submission, all responding businesses are required to identify and confirm their firm’s size and type of business to this NAICS code as instructed. Interested businesses responding to this sources sought must should submit their capability statement indicating proper levels of experience to ensure their services can meet the needs of the Government. A base year of twelve months plus four-option years is the intent of this acquisition.
