The MTRS II program is a joint effort across all four U.S. Services, managed by the Army’s Robotics and Autonomous Systems Program Office. To meet Navy mission-specific requirements not covered by the original Army requirements, the Navy is establishing its own MTRS II configuration. The key initial effort is integrating the Flexible Cyber Secure Radio System (FlexCSR) onto the Army MTRS II configuration. The contract also includes baseline support to maintain the Navy configuration’s Authority to Operate, engineering support services, and depot support services.
