The focus for an adequate plagiarism detection or content similarity tool is to locate and identify instances of plagiarism or copyright infringement. The ability to plagiarize work has been made easier with the use of the internet. AU holds its students to a high ethical standard. A tool that will detect plagiarism and content similarity will assist in maintaining our high standards of excellence. See attached SOR for more details.
