This is a sources sought for the following position at the Eielson AFB Chapel in Alaska for fiscal year 2021: CONTRACT POSITION TITLE. Services Manager for: Musician – Protestant Service & Musician - Catholic Service 2. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Contractor shall provide qualified musician(s) at Eielson Air Force Base (AFB), Alaska in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions of this contract. The two positions to be filled and managed by the Contractor are described below: 2.1 The Protestant Service Musician: provides appropriate accompaniment as instrumental musician during designated Protestant services and other events for the Protestant community at Eielson AFB. Position requires working closely with the Protestant Ministry Chaplain (PMC), Protestant Pastoral Advisory Council (PPAC), Chapel Staff, Protestant Religious Education (RE) Coordinator, volunteers, community members and other groups as determined by the PMC. The work schedule will be established in cooperation with the PMC who will serve as direct on-site oversight for the Contractor. Any discrepancies in performance will be coordinated for resolution through the musician, the contractor, and the Chapel Contracting Officer Representative (COR). This program includes a minimum of one weekly planning meeting with the PMC at the Eielson AFB, AK Chapel Offices and presence at weekly rehearsals, prescheduled weekend worship services, and occasional special services. 2.2 The Catholic Service Musician: provides appropriate accompaniment as instrumental musician during designated Catholic services and other events for the Catholic community at Eielson AFB. Position requires working closely with the Catholic Ministry Chaplain (CMC), Catholic Pastoral Advisory Council (CPAC), Chapel Staff, Catholic RE Coordinator, volunteers, community members and other groups as determined by the CMC. The work schedule will be established in cooperation with the CMC who will serve as direct oversight for the Contractor. Any discrepancies in performance will be coordinated for resolution through the musician, the contractor, and the Chapel COR. This program includes a minimum of one weekly planning meetings with the CMC at the Eielson AFB, AK Chapel Offices and presence at weekly rehearsals, Sunday worship, and occasional special services.
