The Fort Riley Recycle Program is currently accepting bids for the sale of approximately 30,000 lbs. of Bailed Aluminum Used Beverage Can Scrap. There are 39 bales total in this load and they primarily consist of used beverage cans that were magnetically separated from other materials and then bailed. There could be small amounts of other aluminum materials including foil and other aluminum products. This load is currently being stored at the Recycle Center at 1980 G Street on Fort Riley, Kansas. These products are being advertised for sale using a spot bid process. Interested bidders should complete the attached bid sheet (can be done electronically) and return them by email to the Fort Riley Environmental Division no later than 1:00 PM on February 28th, 2019.
