It will be issued electronically at the SAM.gov website- https://sam.gov.Eielson Air Force Base has a requirement for a Construction project, FTQW 19-0504 Repair CHPP Electrical Panels and Circuits Phase B. Contractor is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision required to complete the following construction project, FTQW 19-0504 Repair CHPP Electrical Panels and Circuits Phase B. The general scope of this project includes upgrading and modifying the low voltage electrical and lighting systems at Eielson’s Central Heat & Power Plant (CH&PP). The Contractor shall provide new light fixtures, conduit, conductors, boxes and appurtenances to replace the light fixtures in the CH&PP, from the 2nd floor to the top of the plant, as well as in the cooling pond pump house. Demolish the existing light fixtures and associated conduit, conductors and appurtenances in the same areas. Provide temporary services and lighting as necessary to maintain CH&PP operations throughout the construction period. Work will be performed on Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska Performance time will be 360 calendar days. The Government is contemplating Firm Fixed-Price Sealed Bid contract. The solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The estimated magnitude is between $1,500,000 and $5 includes upgrading and modifying the low voltage electrical and lighting systems at Eielson’s Central Heat & Power Plant (CH&PP). The Contractor shall provide new light fixtures, conduit, conductors, boxes and appurtenances to replace the light fixtures in the CH&PP, from the 2nd floor to the top of the plant, as well as in the cooling pond pump house. Liquidated damages will be identified in the solicitation and placed under the proposed contract. All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation. It is the contractor's responsibility for downloading the RFP documents and for monitoring the website for possible amendments, any changes or updates. Not responding to this pre-solicitation does not preclude participation in any future IFB, if one is issued. The U.S.A.F. is seeking potential contractors to upgrade and modify the low voltage electrical and lighting systems at Eielson’s Central Heat & Power Plant (CH&PP). The Contractor shall provide new light fixtures, conduit, conductors, boxes and appurtenances to replace the light fixtures in the CH&PP, from the 2nd floor to the top of the plant, as well as in the cooling pond pump house. Work also includes demolishing the existing light fixtures and associated conduit, conductors and appurtenances in the same areas, as well as provide temporary services and lighting as necessary to maintain CH&PP operations throughout the construction period.
