BACKGROUND: The cryogenics facility (bldg. 3245) at Eielson AFB, Alaska is a 2,420 SF facility that houses and distributes liquid nitrogen and liquid oxygen via carted tanks. The facility was built in 1962. The building has undergone other various renovation and repair projects as well. The Air Force needs an accurate construction cost estimate to help it determine whether or not the building should be replaced or to expand the current building’s foot print. This is a competitive selection process in which competing offerors’ qualifications will be evaluated in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 36.6 to determine the most highly qualified firms. The Government intends to award one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price contract. RESPONSES: All responses to this synopsis must be submitted in accordance with the instructions no later than Thursday, 17 June 2021 at 2:00 PM AKST.
