Once the desing is completed and accepted and all materials and equipment are on site, the Contractor shall begin construction activities IAW the approved design. This requirement is for the design, removal, and replacement of the existing elevator in the ATCT (Building 1216), the addition of fire sprinklers in the attached AOB (Building 1215), the replacement of the existing fire alarms with a combined mass notification system (MNS) in both the ATCT and AOB, and repair of life safety and means of egress components at Eielson AFB. We are looking for contractors with experience working/renovating Air Traffic Control Towers and repairing/upgrading mid-rise elevators while prioritizing small business concerns.
