This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. Estimated issue date for this solicitation is on or after 21 July 2022, with the solicitation closing approximately 30 days thereafter. It will be issued electronically at the SAM.gov website- https://sam.gov. Eielson Air Force Base has a requirement for the construction project, FTQW 19-1010 Replacement of CHPP ACDC Power Systems & UPS. Contractor is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision required to complete the following construction project, FTQW 19-1010 Replacement of CHPP ACDC Power Systems & UPS. The general scope of this project includes design, upgrade, and replacement of the Essential Power system & UPS at Eielson’s Central Heat and Power Plant (CHPP). Once the design is completed and accepted, the Contractor shall completely prepare the site and preform the replacement of the Essential Power system & UPS. Work will be performed on Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska Performance time will be 175 calendar days. The Government is contemplating Firm Fixed-Price Sealed Bid contract. The estimated magnitude is between $250,000 and $1,000,000. The NACIS code 238210 and the Small Business Size Standard is $16,500,000. Electronic bid submissions will not be accepted or returned. Bid, Payment and Performance Bonds will be required. Liquidated damages will be identified in the solicitation and placed under the proposed contract. All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation. Site visit information will be provided in the solicitation. The complete solicitation will only be available electronically at https://sam.gov. No paper / hard copies will be provided. It is the contractor's responsibility for downloading the RFP documents and for monitoring the website for possible amendments, any changes or updates. Not responding to this pre-solicitation does not preclude participation in any future IFB, if one is issued. Interested vendors may register their contact information at the SAM website under this notice. Contractors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and have their Online Representations and Certifications completed. Failure to register in the database will render the contractor ineligible for award.
