20 August 2021 NAICS: 811213 Communications Repair and Maintenance PSC: J059 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Electrical and Electronic Equipment Components US Army, CECOM Security Assistance Management Directorate, Logistics and Engineering Operations Directorate, APG, MD 21005-1846 SUBJECT: Sources sought Field Support Representative Harris Radios RESPONSE DATE: 17 September 2021 SOURCES SOUGHT TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION INTRODUCTION The US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) is issuing this sources-sought Request for Information as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having the capability to provid, a Field Service Representative (FSR) for one year in the country of Cameroon. US funding will be used to contract an FSR to support Cameroon on its Command and Control (C2) node. SOURCES SOUGHT TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION INTRODUCTION: This is a Request for Information (RFI). This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) is issuing this sources-sought Request for Information as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the capability to provide, a Field Service Representative (FSR) for one year in the country of Cameroon. US funding will be used to contract an FSR to support Cameroon on its Command and Control (C2) node. The FSR will perform equipment installation, basic operation of equipment, basic maintenance of equipment, and conduct on-the-job training in operation and maintenance of equipment for Cameroon military personnel. The equipment is from Harris Global Communications (L3Harris) so the FSR must be able to perform the above requirements on those items. Tools, technical documentation, and training materials shall be provided by the FSR. A written verification and questions in reference to this RFI shall be submitted to the Contracting Office POC listed below. CECOM SAMD is requesting submissions by 17 September 2021 by 3:30 P.M. EST. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: INTERESTED PARTIES SHALL NOT SUBMIT PROPOSALS. INTERESTED PARTIES SHALL SUBMIT INFORMATION PAPERS/ BY THE SPECIFIED DUE DATE. No contracts will be awarded based on this announcement. If you are interested in responding to this RFI, please e-mail the Contracting Office POC listed below. Please include the following information in your e-mail: Company name; information papers your company will provide in response to this RFI; Company Cage Code. Proprietary Information: Respondents shall clearly identify and mark in writing all proprietary information on all documents being provided. USE OF INFORMATION: The purpose of this notice is to satisfy DFARS PGI 206.302-1, "only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" as well as to confirm industry information and convey that to CECOM SAMD. All proprietary information contained in the response shall be separately identified and marked. Any proprietary information contained in response to this request will be properly protected from any unauthorized disclosure.
