NGA intends to issue a sole-source FS2 bridge contract to Leidos to continue Foundation Sustainment Services for the Source Directorate and mission partners. The bridge will maintain existing integration, software maintenance, operations support, and limited development for current mission capabilities, covering MC&G areas such as Aeronautical, Maritime, Topographic, Geopolitical Geography, Elevation, Geodesy, and Controlled Imagery. It will be structured as CPFF, CR, and T&M with a 12-month base period and an anticipated ordering period from April 2027 to April 2028, supporting FS2 through April 2028. NGA states the incumbent is the only responsible source able to avoid service interruption while it completes the delayed FS3i follow-on acquisition, and this is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may submit capabilities information, but NGA advises waiting until the follow-on FS3i notice, with NGA intending to finalize FS3i’s acquisition strategy and solicit in Q1 FY27; the bridge is only intended to continue services until FS3i is awarded.
