This notice serves to announce the intent of the 81st Contracting Squadron to issue a solicitation for Individually Ventilated Cage/Rack System (IVC Rack System) at Keesler Air Force Base (KAFB), Mississippi. This acquisition will be a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 339112 – Surgical and Medical Equipment Manufacturing and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. A description of the IVC Rack System will be posted in the solicitation at www.beta.SAM.gov on or about 17 December 2020. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available and verbal responses to this synopsis will not be accepted. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the solicitation. The solicitation may be downloaded from www.beta.SAM.gov, as copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the solicitation expiration date to be considered for award of contract with any DoD agency. Registration may be accomplished at www.sam.gov/SAM. Any interested party may submit a quote for consideration of contract award. Questions will only be accepted once the solicitation is posted.
