The Department of Defense is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of providing portable anti-ram vehicle barriers for temporary perimeter security at installations across Japan, including Okinawa. Systems must be crash-tested to ASTM F2656 standards (minimum M30) and ideally listed on the USACE Anti-Ram Vehicle Barrier List, with designs suited for rapid deployment. Vendors must be able to ship to or manufacture within Japan, with existing support infrastructure in the INDOPACOM AOR highly desired.
