This project will remove existing generator, automatic transfer switch (ATS), and ancillary equipment at the following facilities: Hangar 5, Lift Station 805, West End Localizer 2127, and West End Lighting Vault 2174. Install new generator, bypass isolation ATS with switched neutral, 3-Way manual transfer switch (MTS), and surge protection devices at the following facilities: Hangar 5, Lift Station 805, West End Localizer 2127, and West End Lighting Vault 2174. Hangar 5 and West End Lighting Vault 2174 will require a load bank CAM-lock connection box with circuit breaker. West End Lighting Vault 2174 will require to remove existing day tank and install a new day tank and associated piping to connect to the existing exterior fuel tank.

This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation for bid. Dobbins Air Reserve Base has a requirement to Replace Generator for Facility 5, 805, 2127 and 2174. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Business. Set-aside is in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. Work consist of but is not limited to providing all materials, equipment, labor, supervision, and incidentals necessary to Replace Generator for Facility 5, 805, 2127 and 2174 in accordance with the project’s specifications and drawings. The specifications and drawings will be posted as attachments to the solicitation. Department of the Air Force, Air Force Reserve Command, 94th Contracting Flight, will solicit a contract to Replace Generator for Facility 5, 805, 2127 and 2174. Solicitation will consist of a Base CLIN of one (1) Generator and three (3) Option CLINS consisting of one (1) Generator each; total of four (4) CLINS. This project will remove existing generator, automatic transfer switch (ATS), and ancillary equipment at the following facilities: Hangar 5, Lift Station 805, West End Localizer 2127, and West End Lighting Vault 2174. This project includes but is not limited to equipment installation, associated cabling, grounding, concrete placement, and new site preparations. Perform arc flash hazard analysis for each facility. During construction these sites must always have a source of power connected either with commercial or by generator. Provide temporary generator and ATS during construction when the existing generator is not operational.
