This is a solicitation notice for Storage and Shipping Container, Propulsion System Rocket Engine (PSRE), part no. 30400-204-541 or -511, NSN 8140-00-247-5075. This storage and shipping container is a self-contained environmental chamber for storage, protection and shipping the PSRE. Shipment of the PSRE to ICBM field locations, to and from Hill AFB depot and other locations for various testing require use of this container. The container has special heating, cooling and humidity controls to maintain the PRSE in required environmental conditions. The container has special safety features to maintain and keep the PSRE safe as well as personnel involved in operations. This requirement is full and open competition, however you do have to pre-qualify. The solicitation will consist of multiple CLINS for first article requirements, production, and Data. In accordance with FAR 9.202(e) the Government reserves the right not to delay contract award. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Foreign Participation is not permitted.
