SUBJECT: Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the following F15 Avionics Intermediate Shop (AIS) Test Stations NSNs: NSN: 5998-01-296-7324KV / P/N: 6416901-1 NSN: 5998-01-310-0178KV / P/N: 6414703-2 NSN: 5998-01-545-7213KV / P/N: P/N 5101902-9 ITEM DESCRIPTION: The F-15 Avionics Intermediate Shop (AIS) Test Stations are utilized to support the test, service, overhaul, and repair of F-15 A/B/C/D/E Avionics Systems components at Intermediate and Depot level facilities. NSN: 5998-01-296-7324KV goes in the AN/GSM-345 Aircraft Radar Test Station, NSN: 5998-01-310-0178KV goes in the AN/GSM- Aircraft Radar Test Station, and NSN: 5998-01-545-7213KV goes onto the AN/GSM-228 Antenna Test Station. IMPEDIMENT TO COMPETITION: The original equipment manufacturer for these items is Honeywell International, Inc. (CAGE 55974 for NSN 5998-01-296-7324KV, NSN: 5998-01-310-0178KV, and NSN: 5998-01-545-7213KV), which maintains its configuration by part number and software version. The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement. As a result, Honeywell International, Inc. is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the F15 AIS component performance requirements and possession of the required technical data and capabilities needed to produce this item and ensure compatibility of the equipment. INTEREST Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 1 October 2020 by emailing Christopher Meadows (christopher.meadows.3@us.af.mil) and Jimmy Hicks (jimmy.hicks@us.af.mil). The Government intends to procure these items using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
