The government is conducting market research to identify sources capable of providing F-15E Flat Panel Multipurpose Display (FPMPD) repair service for Part Number 114000-39 / NSN 1270-01-673-7123FX. Repair is restricted to the OEM, Collins Aerospace (CAGE 09344 / 84T51), the known sole source, because the government does not own and cannot economically obtain the proprietary technical data needed to repair or compete the work, and no samples are available. The contractor would furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services; maintain and calibrate support equipment at its or a subcontractor’s facility; and ensure replacement parts meet or exceed original quality. Respondents are on notice that participation in this market research may not ensure participation in future solicitations or awards, and the government will not reimburse survey expenses.
