The Government is conducting market research to identify sources capable of depot-level test and repair of ALR-56M low-voltage power supplies (PS1, PS2, and PS3) under specified NSNs and part numbers. The required service also includes obsolete parts resolution and engineering support to investigate Deficiency Reports and Material Improvement Projects. Repairs must meet form, fit, function, and interface requirements. The Government lacks the data rights needed to compete the repair and has determined it uneconomical to reverse engineer, qualify a new source, or purchase the data. Crane is the only known repair source for this system since fielding.
