The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of repairing the C-5 Battery Control Electronics Module (BCEM). The technical data required for repair is not owned by the Government and is uneconomical to acquire, and no samples are available for evaluation. The contractor must furnish all material, equipment, and services, performing the work at their own or a subcontractor's facility. Extant Aerospace is the original manufacturer and the known sole-source repair contractor.
