The United States Air Force (USAF) has a requirement for depot-level overhaul of the C-5 trailing edge flap gearbox assemblies. The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the overhaul expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements for the overhaul. Our acquisition strategy is a Firm-Fixed Price requirements type five-year overflow contract (basic year plus four one-year ordering periods). The overhaul includes many different processes for plating, finishing, painting, machining, etc. Below is the special tools & test equipment that were pulled out from the TO updates (16G1-138-3).
