Thi... Solicitation SPRWA1-20-R-0019 will be for the manufacture of the Diesel Engine, NSN 2815-01-537-6191RN, Part Number QSB5.9-S/N46721487. This is a commercial acquisition, full and open competition. This is an update to a previously published and now inactive synopsis. The diesel engine is an internal component of B809D 72KW Generator set. This will be a firm-fixed price requirements type contract with a basic 12-month ordering period, and 4 additional ordering periods as follows: Basic ordering period BEQ 38 each; Ordering Period 1- BEQ 25 each; Ordering Period 2- BEQ 23 each; Ordering Period 3- BEQ 20 each; Ordering Period 4- BEQ 20 each. Delivery will be made to DLA Distribution at Robins AFB, 6 months ARO. The proposed acquisition will be competed as full and open competition. Detailed data/drawings/schematics or other releasable technical data will be available within the solicitation. To obtain copies of bidset documents, vendor must be registered in the Joint Certification Program (JCP). Interested vendors are to request copies of the bidset by providing their CAGE number to the contracting officer listed below. Upon verification, of JCP registration, bidset files will be sent via DoD SAFE wbesite. Based upon market research, the Government is anticipating using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 and/or Part 15 in its solicitation for the described supplies or services.
