Request For Information (RFI) Urgent Repair of the C-5 Moving Island Actuators
The U.S. Air Force is conducting market research to identify sources with the expertise, capabilities, and experience to support the emergency repair and qualification of C-5 Moving Island Actuators, which are critical to the aircraft’s slat system. The requirement is associated with Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. Special tooling and overhaul manual procedures are required, and the level of security clearance and foreign participation has not yet been determined. Interested parties, including large businesses, small businesses, and teaming arrangements, must submit capability documentation and may explain how they would address any experience gaps. Participation is voluntary and will not be reimbursed.
