Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the following items: F-15 Variable Inlet Ramp, left hand 1560-01-621-1723FX 68A327007-1001 F-15 Aircraft Floor 1560-01-239-9073FX 68A327610-1001 ITEM DESCRIPTION The above items are all located inside the 1st ramp on the left and right side of the aircraft. They are used to control airflow to assist with engine performance. They are designed solely for F-15 applications and are used on F-15 E model aircraft only. Impediment to Competition: The original equipment manufacturer for this item is The Boeing Company (Support Equipment Systems and Services), CAGE 76301. The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement. As a result, the Boeing Company is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the performance requirements and possession of the required technical data and capabilities needed to produce these items and ensure compatibility of the equipment. INTEREST The DLA/AWB Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to The Boeing Company for the Manufacture of the F-15 Variable Inlet Ramp, left hand and the F-15 Aircraft Floor in support of the F-15 E model Aircraft. Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 30 July 2018 by emailing dla.dlr.proc@us.af.mil. The Government intends to procure these items using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
