SUBJECT: Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the Low Voltage Power Supply (6130-01-626-9365FX, P/N 987-000-215). ITEM DESCRIPTION The above SRUs are component of the MPD used on the F-15E Fighter. The Low Voltage Power Supply enables signal to the High Voltage Power Supply and helps delay high voltage until all operating voltages are established. IMPEDIMENT TO COMPETITION: The original equipment manufacturer for this item is Collins Aerospace (CAGE 84T51) previously Rockwell Collins, Inc. The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement. As a result, Collins Aerospace is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the SRU performance requirements and possession of the required technical data and capabilities needed to produce these items and ensure compatibility of the equipment. INTEREST The DLA/AWB Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to Collins Aerospace for the manufacture of the Low Voltage Power Supply in support of the F-15E program. Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 09 Sep 2022 by emailing your name and email address to todd.stimus@us.af.mil and/or nongnout.reyes.1@us.af.mil. The Government intends to procure these items using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
