FROM: Sharyka Gurley/408 SCMS/GULA TO: DLA Aviation Procurement Operations at Warner Robins (SPRWA1) LOCATION: Robins AFB, GA 31098-1813 TITLE: Request for Interested Manufacturers NSN: 5865-01-379-6391EW, AN/ALQ-131 Band 3 Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) SUBJECT: Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the ALQ-131 Band 3 Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO), NSN 5865-01-379-6391EW, PN 587R226H04. ITEM DESCRIPTION The AN/ALQ131 is a system used on the F-16 and A-10. NSN 5865-01-379-6391EW is a voltage-controlled oscillator. The oscillator shall contain a common tuning voltage input port J2 and three voltage controlled oscillator output ports J3, J4, and J5. Each VCO is capable of being frequency modulated and electronically controlled independently. Each voltage-controlled oscillator shall be hybridized and hermetically sealed. INTEREST The DLA/AWB Contracting Office intends to award a competitive contract to a qualified source for the manufacture of the Band 3 Voltage Control Oscillator in support of the AN/ALQ-131 program. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than SSS closing date by emailing sharyka.gurley.1@us.af.mil and christine.tomlinson@us.af.mil. The Government intends to procure these items using limited competition among approved sources, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1.
