This is a notice of intent that AFSC/PZABB anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) 5-year Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) (One-Year Ordering Periods). This is for the repair of the ALR-56M Non-crystal Oscillators, National Stock Number (NSN) 5963-01-362-9731EW, P/N 330376-101 and Frequency Converters, NSN 5955-01-362-4598EW, P/N 330373-101 Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ’s) for the frequency converter: Basic (12) Ordering Period I (12), Ordering Period II (12), Ordering Period III (12), Ordering Period IV (12) Best Estimated Quantities )BEQ’s) for the Non-crystal oscillators: Basic (12) Ordering Period I (12), Ordering Period II (12), Ordering Period III (12), Ordering Period IV (12) The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, NARDA-MITEQ; Cage: 94546, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to contract repair of parts from additional sources. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The intended source for this acquisition is: NARDA-MITEQ 435 Moreland Road Hauppauge, NY 11788-3926 CAGE: 94S46 Large Business Specifications, plans, or drawings related to this procurement are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact identified as the primary and alternate POC in this post for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the Contracting Officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels.
