The Air Force’s 421st SCMS at Tinker AFB, OK, is conducting sources-sought market research for a new-manufacture spares procurement of a combustion liner for the F108 platform (NSN 2840013443232PN; P/N 9978M51G18), with an estimated spares requirement date of 27 Oct 2028. Interested sources must be capable of furnishing labor, materials, facilities, and equipment for component manufacture, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping, and may also need to handle supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting, long-lead procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources, material shortages, and nonrecurring engineering to become an approved source. Qualification requires a Source Approval Request package, with technical data/Engineering Data List available as applicable. The government is assessing whether the effort can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside and may break the requirement out by airframe.
