The Air Force is conducting sources-sought market research for a new spares buy of a shipping and storage platform for the F100, NSN 8145014503984NZ, P/N P4078845, with an estimated spares requirement of 7 units and performance at Tinker AFB, OK. Potential sources must be capable of manufacturing the item and providing component procurement/manufacture, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping, and may also handle supply-chain management, logistics planning, forecasting, long-lead parts procurement, diminishing-source issues, and nonrecurring engineering to become an approved source. Qualification requires a Source Approval Request package per the applicable qualification requirements; interested vendors must select “Add Me to Interested Vendors” to participate in the market research. This is not a solicitation, no solicitation is currently available, and the government will use the responses to determine the best acquisition strategy, including whether the effort can be competitive or a small-business set-aside.
