This is a Sources Sought market research notice for new manufacture of J85 rear spool spares (P/N 5126T37P03; NSN 2840014861845OK), with an estimated spares requirement of 6 units. Performance is at Tinker AFB, OK. Interested sources must add themselves to the Interested Vendors list to participate; no solicitation is currently available. Potential sources should be capable of furnishing labor, materials, facilities, equipment, inspection/testing, preservation/packaging, shipping, supply chain management, long-lead parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources/material shortage support, and possible nonrecurring engineering to become an approved source. The Air Force will use the information to determine acquisition strategy, including whether the effort can be competitive or a small business set-aside and whether to break it out by airframe.
