The Air Force is conducting market research via a Sources Sought Synopsis to identify potential sources for manufacturing F-15 aircraft turbine platform spares, NSN 1660-01-662-5982, P/N 2222250-4, with an estimated spares requirement of 26 units. Performance location is Tinker AFB, OK. Interested sources may include large businesses and small/socioeconomic business categories, and the government will use the information to determine the best acquisition strategy, including possible small-business set-aside or airframe breakout. Potential sources must be capable of furnishing labor, materials, facilities, and equipment for new manufacture, including component procurement/manufacture, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping, and may also handle supply-chain management, logistics planning, forecasting, long-lead procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources, and nonrecurring engineering to become an approved source.
