The U.S. Air Force’s 424th SCMS at Tinker AFB, OK, is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Synopsis to identify potential sources for spares procurement of a Pattern Generator Platform, NSN 5998-01-700-1758IM, P/N 901012-101. The estimated spares requirement is 10 each. Potential sources must be capable of new manufacture, including component parts procurement/manufacture, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, shipping, and possibly supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting, long-lead parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources/material shortages, and shipping serviceable assets. The government will use responses to determine whether the effort can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside and may break out the requirement by airframe; potential sources may also bear nonrecurring engineering costs to become an approved source.
