The Air Force is conducting market research via a Sources Sought notice to identify potential suppliers for the new manufacture of a spares procurement item: a linear direct valve, NSN 4810-01-148-2014-HS, part number 50010-11, with an estimated quantity of 15. This is a new spares buy only, with no repair requirement, and interested parties must be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment, including potential nonrecurring engineering costs. The government is seeking interest from all business types, including small and disadvantaged businesses, and may consider breaking the requirement out by airframe. Performance of the work would be at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. No solicitation is currently available, and responses will be used to determine the acquisition strategy.
