The Air Force is conducting market research via a sources sought notice to identify potential suppliers for the spares procurement of an interconnecting box (NSN 5975-01-650-1276FG) used on the B-52 aircraft. The estimated spares requirement is three units, and the contractor would be responsible for new manufacture, testing, packaging, and shipping, potentially including nonrecurring engineering costs. Performance of services would be at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. The government is interested in responses from large and small businesses, including 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, and women-owned firms, and may consider a small business set-aside or breakout by airframe.
