The Air Force’s 421st SCMS at Tinker AFB, OK, is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Synopsis to identify potential sources for a new spares buy of a TF33 compressor spacer (NSN 2840-01-305-5307, P/N 413918P20). The estimated spares requirement is 187 units, and this is a new spares buy with no repair requirement. Potential sources must be capable of furnishing labor, materials, facilities, and equipment for new manufacture, including component procurement/manufacture, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. They may also be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, long-lead part procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages, and nonrecurring engineering costs to become an approved source. The effort is open to all business types, including large, small, disadvantaged, 8(a), SDVOSB, HUBZone, and women-owned businesses; no solicitation is available and no contract will be awarded from this market research.
