The U.S. Air Force is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Synopsis to identify potential sources for spares procurement of an F100 turbine component (NSN 2840012783281NZ, P/N 4074639), with an estimated requirement of 12 units. Potential sources must be capable of new manufacture, including labor, materials, facilities, equipment, component procurement, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, shipping, and may also handle supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting, long-lead procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources, and nonrecurring engineering to become an approved source. The Government is interested in all business types, including large businesses and small, disadvantaged, 8(a), service-disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone, and women-owned small businesses, and may consider a competitive or small-business set-aside strategy or breakout by airframe.
