The government requires 11 Brake Heat Stack Assemblies, NSN 1630-01-352-7008, for the B-2 aircraft for use at Hill AFB UT. This item is the friction material that is used to provide the stopping force for the brakes on the B-2 Aircraft. As such these items are wear items that must be replaced on a regular basis. Honeywell International (Cage Code 55284) is the OEM for this component and owns all the data necessary to produce this component per our requirements. The government intends to issue a sole source solicitation/contract to Honeywell International (Cage Code 55284) as they are the sole owner of the data necessary to manufacture these items and will not distribute this data to any other vendors. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Respondents shall specify whether it is a large business, 8(a) concern, women-owned small business, HUBZone small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled, or a veteran-owned small business. Respondents must also specify whether they are a U.S. or foreign-owned firm. Synopsis responses should specifically address ability to provide the items being acquired.
